Privacy notice
Voltgevity is designed around minimum personal data collection.
What we store
Your email address, an optional display name, your preferences (language, units, currency), the vehicles and charging scenarios you enter, battery measurements you log, simulation inputs and results, and security records (pseudonymised IP hashes, audit entries).
Location
We never require your exact location. Climate is selected by region or city, or entered manually.
Why
To calculate your battery plan, keep your history reproducible, secure your account and comply with legal obligations.
Your rights
You can download all your data (Account → Privacy & data) and delete your account at any time. Deletion removes your personal data; audit entries remain without any link to you.
Retention
Sessions and one-time tokens expire automatically. Audit entries are kept for a configurable period (default two years). Anonymous simulations are not stored. Quick-calculator results (coarse inputs only) are cached for up to an hour by an input hash; anonymous detailed previews are not cached at all.
Processors
Email is sent through the configured SMTP provider. Vehicle data may come from licensed providers; we do not send your personal data to them.
